Mobile River Bridge Meetings

If you’re like me and sat in traffic because the Wallace Tunnel was closed this morning, you’ll want to know the latest on the proposed bridge.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will be hosting two open house meetings next week.

On Tuesday, May 7th they will have an open house at the Spanish Fort Community Center from 4:30 to 8:00 pm. The Center is located at 7361 Spanish Fort Blvd.

On Thursday, May 9th, there will be a meeting at the Mobile Civic Center, 401 Civic Center Dr from 4:30 to 8:00 pm.

Both meeting will have the same format. The public will be able to view project information, exhibits and the Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact statement. There will be a presentation on the impact statement beginning at 5:30 pm. Comments will be allowed and limited to two minutes. Speakers must sign up prior to the start of the presentation.
